Pilates is a total mind–body conditioning exercise programme that aims to lengthen and strengthen your muscles using slow, precise, accurate and flowing movements to restore normal movement, alignment and balance. By restoring your correct movement patterns it can lead to increased mobility and flexibility. Pilates is ideal if you are returning to sport following an operation, injury, and before or after child-birth.
